ABOUT US
The Shepherd Family Cabins & RV Campground is a family-run organization with multiple locations.
​
What started as the Shepherd Brothers has now grown into the Shepherd Family Business; run by brothers Bill, Kenneth, and Daniel, Bill’s wife, Tracy, and Kenneth’s wife, Kristi, and the four kids that we have between us. While we each have day jobs – ranging from engineer and oil contractor to teacher and vet – we also love taking on our individual roles in making people feel at home while in one of our properties.

We love spending time together exploring the great outdoors and the founding principal of the Shepherd Family Cabin Rentals is making the great outdoors easily accessible to our guests. That is why we have chosen each of our locations in close proximity to State Parks that offer a range of activities like mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and water sports.
We began in the hospitality industry in Canyon, at the doorstep of Palo Duro Canyon, in 2017 and loved it so much that we have continued to expand.
In February of 2020 we purchased an additional space in between Caprock Canyon State Park and Quitaque, Tx. and in the summer of 2022 we completed the first of several rentals in Watonga, Oklahoma, located just outside of Roman Nose State Park.

Our goal is to continue to expand our locations to new fun and exciting locations and to continue to extend our hospitality to all of you.
